Delivery
Delivery costs are added at checkout based on the basket contents. A dispatch notification will be sent at the time of posting. STOCK sent within 3 to 5 days of order date. MTO allow up to 10 weeks before dispatch.
UK Delivery information
UK stock footwear orders are sent via Royal Mail and should be delivered within 3 - 5 working days of the dispatch notice.
International Delivery information
Your order will be shipped overseas by Royal Mail or courier. Delivery times can vary depending on the destination country but it can take a while. Please allow up to 21 days for your parcel to be delivered. International customers are responsible for any customs charges that may be incurred. I am afraid that custom charges are beyond my control and I am unable to offer quotes of what they might be. Please do check the customs rules within your country before ordering. It is most likely that there will be customs charges for European destinations since Brexit, do check.
DAMAGED PARCELS - In the unlikely event that your goods have been damaged in transit please KEEP ALL PACKAGING and send me clear photographs of the package as proof for me to file a claim on your behalf.
Returning goods
I accept returned products within 14 days of date of delivery. To log a return please contact me with your name and the date of order. Return to: Fairysteps, Hitchcombe Farm, Moretonhampstead, Newton Abbot, Devon, TQ13 8QB, England.
All items must be returned unworn / unused and in the new condition in which they were received, in their original packaging. Always try shoes on a clean carpeted surface to assess fit. The fitting card enclosed with orders advises:
"Footwear should feel comfortably snug, not squished. ONLY when you are completely happy with the initial fit should you wear them. If worn, for any length of time at all, they cannot be returned. Always trim your ribbons OR tie in double bows, long ribbons are a tripping hazard! Leather likes to be loved, polish regularly.
Please note:
Refunds EXCLUDE the initial (if applicable) and return postage costs.
Refund is not guaranteed and is subject to our review of the returned product.
Customers are responsible for making sure that parcels are carefully packaged and insured should they become lost.
International customers are responsible for any customs charges that may be incurred, either way. Please mark international returns clearly as 'Returned Goods'.
What happens if my shoes don't feel quite right and I want a different size?
If this happens I am happy to offer a refund on unworn footwear. Please email me to log the return and send back the unworn shoes in their original packaging to me at the address above. Make sure they are insured as I cannot be responsible for parcels which are lost in the post. On arrival, I will issue a refund back to you (I am afraid this excludes postage costs). You can then reorder the next size up or down should you wish to. Apologies if this seems a fidget, but my accountant insists I keep my books in order and deal with returns in this way.

Safe online shopping is guaranteed via Paypal's secure payment system. Your data is heavily protected by the highest level of commercially available encryption, which means that your details are not shared with us or anyone else! We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Mastercard, Visa Delta amd Meastro via Paypal. You do not have to sign up to Paypal in order to use it.
Acknowledgement & Acceptance Of Order
I will notify you by e-mail to confirm receipt of your order, however acceptance of your order will take place upon dispatch of the product(s) ordered and I will e-mail you again to confirm dispatch.
