Fairysteps have left their gentle footprint across the globe for the past twenty years. Still handcrafted by the original Shoemaker one unique pair at a time. The dedication & passion that started the adventure all those years ago remains.

Day's spent in my woodland studio on the edge of Dartmoor are happily filled with leather, yarn, birdsong and endless tea. I am very much a seasonal maker so inspiration from the Woods surrounding my home constantly finds it's way into my work.

I switch between making footwear & leathergoods for extended periods of time so cannot forecast products in advance, but expect varying sizes / styles / colours on release. New Stock is added randomly as I complete it with listing updates via instagram.

I grew up with ditsy print maxi dresses, flared trousers, folk revival and a world where everything was brown, orange & purple, it was the 70's. Instagram reminds me so much of my Mums trusty polaroid that it's like childhood all over again. Follow for studio shots, customer shares, stock updates & snippets from home.
